Meet the Coaches

Co- Founder
Bruce Frady
Bruce is the current Head Coach and Program Director for Southlake Carroll Lacrosse Association. Prior to coaching at Southlake, Bruce served as an Assistant Coach at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill from 2016 through 2018. Before that, Bruce was Director for 3D Northern California from 2014-2016, and Associate Head Coach at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut from 2005-2014. Bruce also spent two seasons on the lacrosse coaching staff at Fairfield University.

Bruce played collegiate lacrosse at Division III Eastern Connecticut State University in Windham, Connecticut.

Co-Founder
Justin Anderson
Justin is the current Head Coach and Program Director for Keller Lacrosse. Prior to coaching at Keller, Justin started out his high school coaching career with Southlake Carroll as the offensive coordinator. Justin also currently plays for the Denver Outlaws in the PLL and started out playing in the PLL with the Chrome Lacrosse Club in 2021. Justin is a current captain for the Denver Outlaws, a 2X PLL All-Star, and was part of the first ever PLL Champ Series Championship team in 2023. In the spring of 2021, Justin graduated from the University of North Carolina where he was a 3X Captain, 2X All American, 2X ACC Champion, Final 4 Finalist, and 3X All ACC Team.

2031 Head Coach and 2029 Assistant Coach
Nick Sagraves
Nick joined our staff in the fall of 2022. Prior to the transition to TX, Nick worked as the Director of Operations for the UNC men's lacrosse program in Chapel Hill, NC. Prior to Carolina, Nick spent four years with the Swarm after joining the organization in 2015 during which time he oversaw the logistics for player equipment, team practices, field preparations and youth development camps. For two of those four years, Nick also served as Regional Director for Thunder LB3 Lacrosse. As regional director, he coordinated team practice schedules while designing and implementing various youth development camp curriculums across the club teams.
Nick has a multitude of experiences working in youth development at each stage in his post-collegiate career. On top of his responsibilities with the Swarm and with Thunder LB3 Lacrosse, the Winterville, N.C. spent four years as the coach of Centennial High School’s varsity and junior varsity men’s lacrosse programs and two years as an instructor at The 411 Brand, expanding the game and teaching stick stills to at-risk elementary school children in the Atlanta area.
Nick graduated from Greensboro College where he was a member of the Pride’s men’s lacrosse program. He captained the team his senior season in 2015 and was the recipient of the Academic Scholarship award and Academic All-Conference honors. Upon graduation, Nick traveled to Prague, Berlin, Australia, and Scotland playing lacrosse for Team USA.

2033 Head Coach
Jake Hancock
Jake was born and raised in Baltimore, MD where he started playing lacrosse over 25 years ago. He attended Harford Community College (MD) his freshman and sophomore years where he was a starting midfielder and team captain, scoring over 40 points while earning an Associates of Science degree in Business Administration. Jake transferred to The University of Mount Olive (NC) and started every game his junior and senior years while earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management. He began coaching for Southlake Carroll six years ago, and he has been the JV head coach for 4 years. Jake has been with NorthStar since 2021 as the 2025 Head Coach and is now the current 2033 Head Coach.

2028 Head Coach
Patrick Diamonon
Coach Diamonon is originally from Houston, TX and then went to play at Hendrix College, NCAA D3 in Conway, Arkansas. He also played with the Philippines Lacrosse Association in multiple international events and was one of the very first players to have played with the Philippines.During summers in college, Patrick would coach for a local travel team in Houston from 2012-2014. Coach Diamonon has been coaching in the DFW metroplex since 2015 working his way from assistant coach at Plano East, JV Head Coach/Assistant Coach at Plano West, Associate Head Coach then elevated to Head Coach/Program Director of Frisco Lacrosse, Director role for Chaos Lacrosse, and is now currently the Head Coach/Program Director at Fort Worth Country Day. Coach Diamonon has helped many student athletes in their recruiting to play at the college level whether it was NCAA D1, D2, or D3.

2029 Head Coach
Shawn Lamb
After relocating to Texas in 2023, Shawn joined the coaching staff, and has been the head coach of our 2029 group ever since. Shawn currently coaches with Southlake Carroll Lacrosse as an assistant coach. Shawn lived in Los Angeles, where he worked for the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) for the first four seasons. With the PLL, Shawn spent three years managing league operations, overseeing on-field branding, and coordinating player equipment. He later transitioned to the sales team, where he led all sales efforts for the All-Star Game and the Championship Game.
Shawn is an alumnus of Southern Virginia University in Buena Vista, VA, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. As a collegiate lacrosse player, Shawn was a five-time All-Conference player, Rookie of the Year, once named Player of the Year, and twice recognized as a Pre-season All-American. He holds the program record for most points scored, with a total of 373.
After his college career, Shawn gained diverse coaching experiences. For two summers, he was on staff at the Duke Lacrosse Camps, assisted in coaching at the Brine All-American Classic, and provided private lessons for youth and high school players.

2032 Assistant Coach
Evan Janiec
Evan grew up in New Jersey where he was a 2 year starter for Saint Joseph Regional High School. Evan went on to become a Team Captain in 2019 at Mercer County Community College. In 2022, Evan transferred to Division 1 Mount St. Mary’s University. In 2023, Evan attended graduate school at Lindenwood University where he also played Division 1 lacrosse and started all 12 games. After graduation, Evan moved to Texas and began coaching the 2032 team alongside Coach Frady. He also coached within Southlake Carroll’s youth program. Evan is currently the Defensive Coordinator for Keller High School.

2030 Head Coach
Josh Healy
Josh is from Keller, TX and was a standout lacrosse and football player at Keller High School. After graduating, he went on to play NCAA Division 1 lacrosse at Bellarmine University. He was the first D1 lacrosse player out of Keller High School. After 4 great seasons, Josh graduated from Bellarmine University in 2024. Josh has coached with NorthStar since 2023, and he is the current offensive coordinator for Keller High School.

2031 Assistant Coach
Sam McKelvey
In 2009, Sam earned the prestigious 4A/3A C. Markland Kelly Award which is awarded to the top four players in the state of Maryland at the high school level. He was selected First-Team All-Metro by the Washington Post and First-Team All-County and Second-Team All-Metro by The Baltimore Sun. Sam earned First-Team Mid-Atlantic/South honors by US Lacrosse and earned a 4A/3A state title with the South River Seahawks in 2009. He played lacrosse at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), where he played 3 seasons – playing in 35 games total, of which he started 21. He earned All-Conference honors in 2011. Following his collegiate career, Sam played in the American Lacrosse Leage for a few years, and also suited up for the Baltimore Bombers (a professional indoor team) for a few stints.

2033 Assistant Coach
JP Morris
JP grew up playing lacrosse in Edmond, Oklahoma. After graduating High School, he became the state of Oklahoma’s first Division 1 Lacrosse player and was selected to be an Adrenaline High School All American. JP chose to play Division I lacrosse at Mount St. Mary’s University from 2017-2021 and Lindenwood University from 2021-2023. At Lindenwood University, JP was selected to be a team captain in 2023.

2034 Head Coach
Cameron Hamway
Cameron is a former Division 1 midfielder at UMBC, where he played for four seasons and earned dual degrees in Public Health and Financial Economics. He was named to the America East Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll.
In high school, Cameron was a lacrosse state champion and a 2019 Adrenaline All-American, representing the South squad in the North-South All-American game.
With over six years of coaching experience in Maryland and Texas, Cameron focuses on developing players’ skills, teamwork, and dedication to the game.

2034 Assistant Coach
Brian Cannon
Brian grew up in Northport Long Island and has been around the game from a playing and coaching perspective his entire life. He was a two-time All-American in high school before heading to play Division 1 Lacrosse at the University of North Carolina from 2014 to 2018. During his time at UNC, he won the Division 1 National Championship in 2016, scoring two goals in the national championship game, and the ACC Championship in 2017.
